My name is Wilson LI.I am honored to join STS Group as an intern, and now I have successfully become a customer quality engineer. During my internship in the company, I successfully transferred three departments: sales department, human resource department and quality department.
What I do at STS
When I first entered the company, I joined the sales department and became a sales assistant, assisting the sales manager to sort out some documents needed daily. Meanwhile, I also learned about our current customers and potential customers and products produced by the company.
Two months later, I transferred to the human resource department as an intern. In the position of HR specialist, I assisted the HR supervisor in recruiting operators. For me, this is both a challenge and an opportunity. The challenge is that I have never tried to recruit an operator who meets the company's requirements. Opportunity is that I can exercise myself ability to work through this challenging work, as ready to become a professional as soon as possible.
Six months later, I was graduated from the university, and at the same time, I was faced with a decision that how to choose the department. Finally, I passed the audit of the leaders of the quality department and then I became a customer quality engineer. In this position, my challenge has become greater, I face to our customers, I must have technical and superb communication skills.
What I learn at STS
During the 8-month internship in STS, I successfully changed from a student to a professional. The 8-month was short and substantial. The internship in the sales department taught me how to fully explore potential customers and how to understand their special needs. THE internship in THE personnel department taught me how to respect every employee and how to maintain good communication with them. During this period, I also fully learned THE GROUP Identity : THE STS GROUP VISION; THE STS GROUP MISSION; THE 4 STS GROUP VALUES. Integrity; The open – mindedness ;Respect; Commitment.

I started working as a Sales & Market Analyst trainee (full-time intern) in STS Group in Hallbergmoos in February 2019. It is really a great roller-coaster experience for me in taking my first move in the direction of market analysis. After joining STS, immediately I get along quite good with the very talented and vibrant sales team. It was very beneficial and encouraging for me to learn so many new approaches in handling market analysis from different perspectives. I was mainly responsible for analyzing market conditions and preparing status reports & presentations for VP Sales of the Group. Side by side, I have been extensively associated with many other ongoing projects (Product strategy analysis & Electric vehicle market analysis) of the Sales team. Moreover, I was also assisting Sales Directors (Europe) in analyzing market trends of our customers and how better we can forecast the market situation given the fact that there is a gradual slowing down of the global economy. Specially, at this moment, when the automotive industry is staggering with ups & downs, it is very important that the market analysis is precise and direct in its predictions. So, in executing this interesting and challenging job, I have always got an amicable and warm cooperation from my colleagues. Specially, Sales Controlling, Mrs. Jaeger, have always helped me many times by fetching valuable comments & support in executing my works. I would surely like to thank Mr. Baufeld, VP Sales, for extending his great support in making me understand many critical & subtle points about market analysis.
It is also worth mentioning that all other department colleagues of STS have always come forward to help me in adapting the new work environment. The office environment is truly inclusive and congenial for personal career development. I would surely miss the lunch time chit chats & kitchen coffee informal discussions. STS Group’s HR team also needs special mention. They have been always very kind and helpful in explaining & sorting out all my queries.
As an intern, I have fully enjoyed my time in STS group. The best part of the Group is positive team spirit & effective mentoring. I myself have been immensely benefitted by the fine-tuned expertise of my colleagues in a variety of fields. I would surely recommend fresh university graduates or existing students to apply for internship programs in STS Group. You would really enjoy the new start of your career at STS Group.
